Yesterday I saw an advertisement for a riverwalk that our city is planning on building. The ad was soliciting money from the public for their venture. Right now when the city and county government are laying off people, 40% of homes are being foreclosed on, the business men are so greedy they do not sponsor the riverwalk with their own money. No risk for them. They ask the poor and getting poorer public for money to develop it. The main benefit being minimum wage jobs…if it should prove successful. It just makes me angry.

I saw a wonderful movie about two women who lost their husbands. One was a Muslim and the other a Hindu. A breath of fresh air, this movie shows how free a Muslim woman can be and how oppressed a Hindu one can be. The movie has English subtitles and is in urdu/hindi language. I don’t want to tell you more b/c it might ruin some of the surprises. The title is Dor.

I watched BBC news tonight. The way they handled Hillary’s so-called emotional breakdown was unbelievable. The newscaster derided her saying that her campaign turned into a “soap opera” and his face twisted in disgust. When watching the later footage of her heartfelt answer to the question which they mentioned so briefly at the end that you really had to be paying attention to hear it: “Who does your hair?” Online Newsweek presents a different, more complete version of the actual question that was asked of her. http://www.newsweek.com/id/85609
