GAY MUSLIMS- a poem i am working on.

I was asked by a online friend to write a poem about gay Muslim so here I am asking for help. I am starting a poem that deals with the struggle of being a gay Muslim. Since i am not gay, I am not sure where to start.. I am hoping some of you guys might point me in the right direction about important things to gay muslim. I want to include the personal struggle and acceptance of family. If you have ideas beyond this please throw them my way?
