Obama - the candidate that muslims fear/ Or how about Bilary for a change?

I couldn’t believe it, I thought it was a shoo in. Obama for president and with majority muslim support. Instead what I found was the majority of “Asians” (Pakistani’s, and Indians, Chinese, and Japanese) support Clinton. I tried my best to try and figure out this phenomenom but couldn’t. They say the better educated like Obama, and that whites like Obama, so what’s happened here? I guess Asians align themselves with blue color whites? Do they have beef with a black guy? I think it boils down to that. The majority of muslims that are asian, and other fear a black man in power. I guess they pretty much have people like Bush figured out, and McCain is another Bush. But Hilary well she’s a woman, and she was married to everyones favorite guy, good old Bill, so therefore somehow Hilary and Bill have morphed into Bilary and that is a strong draw to some muslims and asians. The fear of a black man is something that needs to be evaluated in this race, a black man who really is not black, but no one wants to talk about this, its much better to have a black candidate than say a “mixed’ candidate. I would think that we muslims would welcome Obama his running successfully for office, and being elected (inshallah) speaks of a day when diplomacy will return to America. This nation has never been so poor, neglected, hated, and spurned as it has under Bush. And there is alot about Hilary that reminds me of Bush. Not to mention she voted for the war in Iraq. Also Hilary played the race card often, and first. During one debate she turned to Obama and said, “do you reject Minister Louis Farakhan?” I was so shocked at that blatant display of racism that I wanted Obama to rip her a new one, but he was a diplomate and he answered her kindly, knowing that if he as a black man showed anger, or any emotion that America would reject him. In other words HIlary baited him, so he would explode and therefore being an Obama he would then look and sound like Farakhan and people would not hesitate to draw the similarity. Why do Asians fear blacks? I don’t know, I think it’s a sort of ignorance that is taught and passed on and no one questions it.
Societies closed off and lacking in exposure to black people, i suppose that’s it. Anyway if we don’t back him for fear of association, or what have you that’s weak, very weak. Obama stands for the type of change we haven’t yet even realized. He is a man who can bring world leaders to the table, he has no history bad or good with anyone. But Bilary does. He is untainted and unknown as a quantity. Bilary went on and on about his lack of experience. I guess when it comes to her type of experience, I would prefer Obamas.

Obama denies his Muslim

Obama denies his Muslim roots.

I have a problem with a man who didn’t want to be typecast as the “Black” candidate and then distances himself from his Muslim roots.

In the Islamic world, a child is viewed as a Muslim if his father is a Muslim, regardless of his non-observance.

His middle name is “Hussein,” a name reserved only for Muslim children.

He selectively utilizes his autobiography to appeal to the “underclass” but such appeals fall short for me.

He was privileged, having grown up in a white family in Hawaii who were wealthy enough to send him to the most prestigious prep school for non-native Hawaiians in Hawaii.

His own Kenyan fathered children to four women, I guess observing that Muslim rule for men to have an allowance of four “wives.” Polygamous practices are also common in African cultures, Muslim and non-Muslim alike.

His father was an adulterer, but men in the Muslim world are often pardoned for this crime.

If he would acknowledge his Muslim roots, perhaps I would be more open to him.

But sensing that “dynastic succession” will not occur with the Democratic nominee, I will be voting McCain.

Obama’s comments about the Iraqis not doing anything is further insulting.

He was raised by his mother

He was raised by his mother who was not Muslim, did you expect that he would be muslim through osmosis? He was not associated with muslims as a child. And if you read his autobiography he was not a child of wealth and priviledge his family was poor. I think that Obama is doing things right, he knows that he cannot in this environment of mistrust along religious lines, be elected as president, however, once he is president you may see things change in ways that are significant to muslims and all minorities. I think he is a smart man, and he is a patient man and he knows you can’t come out swinging and declarling loyalties because politics being as it is, he will loose without a coming out party. I am glad he isn’t wearing a Kufi and sporting a beard, I think I would rather see him get elected than “look” like a Muslim. So he is a christian but lets be fair he was raised as a christian because his muslim father took off to be with his other wives. Had his muslim father stayed and raised his son, he might be a muslim today, but I doubt if he would be running for president. I think he much more a asset as he is with his knowlege of islam than Hilary or McCain. Don’t be fooled and do’t be naive. If you think either of the other candidates are better think again. Hilary already said, “I will oblitherate Iran.” Huh? Come again? She is already telling us she plans another Iraq and you are trying to fault Obama for saying Iraqi’s need to do more? I think he’s right.
And I think you have it twisted.
