SIX RIGHTS THAT EVERY HUMAN BEING DESERVES AND SHOULD FIGHT FOR
written by Sabina England

The world is fucked up. Humans are selfish monsters who don’t deserve liberty, freedom, let alone have any rights. If anything, we’re even privileged to have free will and mind power. Quite frankly, I’m amazed that Allah has not decided to nuke the Earth yet—for over thousands of years in civilized society, humans have done some of the most fucked up things to each other. War, genocide, ethnic cleansing, rape, sodomy, torture, murder, incest, paedophilia, domestic violence, racism, sexism, homophobia, and so many other disgusting typical human features of daily life on the Earth.
Yet however, despite my deep hatred for the human race, I’ve thought hard about what rights that every single human being deserve. Yes, any human being anywhere from United States to Kenya to India, from Chicago to Cairo to Calcutta. It doesn’t matter what politics you follow or what kind of government you live under. We are human beings, period. So what are our human rights?
After thinking hard and carefully, I’ve created an outline of 6 BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS that ALL HUMAN BEINGS deserve, yet in many parts of the world, it’s not granted to them. Put aside your religious identity or your nationalistic pride, stop thinking of yourself as a Muslim or as a Christian or as a Jew. Ignore your skin color for a moment.
Think about this… through the perspective of a human being.
Basic rights that ALL HUMAN BEINGS should have, regardless of their gender, race, disability, ethnic background, creed, religion, or sexuality.
1) EQUALITY, DIGNITY AND FAIR TREATMENT FOR ALL.
No human being should ever be made to feel disparaged or be treated in a harsh manner just because of the person’s skin color, race, religion, ethnic identity, gender, sexuality, disability, or for their political beliefs. Nobody should have the right to treat others in a tacky manner for the reasons mentioned above—and all human beings deserve dignity no matter what. Quit bitching about how much you hate gay people or how you don’t like black people—NOBODY SHOULD BE MADE TO FEEL WORTHLESS JUST BECAUSE THEY’RE DIFFERENT FROM YOU. We’re all human beings—you think that person who’s so different from you isn’t just like you? Think again.
2) OPEN ACCESS TO WATER FOR ALL.
Water is an essential part of Earth and for human life. Therefore, ALL human beings need water and deserve to share water together. Water should NEVER be sold or marketed, or exploited and/or commercialized. ALL HUMAN BEINGS need open access to water, but in many parts of Africa, Latin America, and Asia, many villagers, even city-dwellers, have a hard time getting clean and safe water. this is a problem that needs to be fixed.
3) FREE EDUCATION FOR ALL.
Education is a tool of power, enlightenment, and understanding. I don’t need to explain why everyone deserves free access to education. Illiteracy is a huge problem in the world, and roughly only 1% of the world’s population holds a college degree. People all over the world have the right to be educated and it’s not fair to prevent anyone from getting their fair share of gaining knolwedge.
4) FREE MEDICAL ACCESS FOR ALL.
This is very underestimated and often misunderstood. Humans do not need to go to a rich fancy hospital to get medical aid. What they need is a CERTIFIED DOCTOR OR NURSE to check their health, to give them proper medicine and instructions, on how to take care of their health, and to help them in case of emergencies. Many people cannot afford doctors. And there aren’t even any hospitals in some parts of the world. This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed.
5) FREEDOM OF SPEECH, RELIGION, AND EXPRESSION FOR ALL.
People may not agree with each other’s beliefs and opinions, but can’t we all get along? Even in the United States, when people’s rights are protected by the Constitution/Bill of Rights, they are still socially ostracized by other members of their community if they have different beliefs. Persecution, ostracization, and social stigma is a problem everywhere, from a small town in the Bible Belt South of the United States, to political persecution in Iran or Pakistan, to religious ostracization in Italy or Malaysia.
No matter what people believe in, they deserve the right to think whatever they want in their minds. They deserve the right to refuse to follow your religion, and they deserve the right to reject religion or choose another religion to practice. Speech and expression are very important parts of society—if you believe in freedom of speech but you don’t want other people to express their different opinions, then you don’t really believe in freedom of speech.
6) INFORMATION SHARED FREELY FOR ALL
ALL HUMAN BEINGS deserve to get the same feed and amount of information that the news media releases as available. Whether it is the Internet, radio, television, newspapers, magazines, word of mouth, films, blogs, etc, you must remember that all humans, whether they are well-read or illiterate, must have equal access to, to enable themselves with information once they are able to do so. People have the right to know what is going on with their government or the on-going events in their society. Corporations and media outlets should NOT prevent us from hearing the truth. We have the right to know what’s going on, and nobody can take that away from us. Yet many news corporation outlets do that—they try to withhold information from us or they refuse to release crucial information that we need to hear.
“Information For All” is not included in "Free Education," because these two fall in seperate categories. Information is released anywhere from the Internet or in print for all, whereas education is limited to those with means and resources. And not everybody has access to Internet, not even to a radio or a television, let alone a newspaper. This is a huge problem. Why do you think so many people are ignorant?
These are THE BASIC SIX RIGHTS THAT EVERY HUMAN SHOULD HAVE. All human beings deserve these basic rights. And if they don’t have their rights, they need to fight for it. Nobody can take your dignity or your rights away from you— if anyone does, give them the boot in the face.
With that, I say cheers and chaos, everybody.
