Marriage in Contemporary America

Salam alaikum,

I wanted to share with everyone a very interesting article published in yesterday's New York Times which makes the link between marriage, class and education.  It's quite interesting in the way it ties class and education to prospects for and long-term stability of marriage in the 21st-century US.  One thing I found particularly interesting was that wealthier and more educated women are now substantially more likely to favor making divorce more difficult as compared to working class women.  I think this is an interesting development in light of the no fault revolution that occurred over the last fifty years.
