Greetings!
As you can see, we've got a bit of a new look. Think of this as an 'interim makeover', if you will. The site's ongoing development, which has been happening in fits and starts, has been taking up quite a bit of time, and the old theme and features were getting very, very stale.
The new look and features are stopgap measures, meant to get rid of a theme that was starting to annoy even me every time I visited the site. It's my hope that this new look and feel will make visiting the site less of an eyesore while we continue to hammer away at the overhaul that's been needed for, oh, a few years now.
New Things:
<
p>
- The rich-text editor has been re-enabled. You can now do things like lists and bolds and italics. Please, use in moderation.
- The core framework of the site has been updated to Drupal 6.4. While we're still pondering a transition to Wordpress, for now, we're sticking with the venerable system that continues to suffer through between 250,000-750,000 page views a month.
- If the above point made no sense to you, don't worry about it. It's really more for the geeks among us.
- Image insertion is easier, but we're no longer going to host the images here. Flickr integration is in the works, but you're going to have to link to the images for now.
- Cleaned up a LOT of the taxonomy. Again, this is for the geeks, but it basically means fewer confusing choices when you're writing a blog entry.
That's it for now. Welcome back, and enjoy!

Looks great! Thanks!
Is there any means of turning on user profiles (allow linking to a user's email id or website when their usernames are clicked)?
