To white female converts, Qur'an mandates covering the bosom, not your locks!

White women and their

White women and their bodies are a battlefield in the mosque scene.

Immigrant Muslims consider fair skin people the standard of beauty.  White Arab beauty queens from Alexandria, fair skinned actresses from Lahore and Mumbai, and Iranian celebrities with fair skin and dyed blond hair is the norm.

White people always get attention when they convert.  Ethnic minorities who convert in the United States are not even given as much attention.

You said it and its true.

You said it and its true.  But white women do cover! It’s the Pakistani ladies who sort of cover.  But I noticed on college campuses that the norm for white women with Arab boyfriends is, tight low riders and a tight sweater and a scarf.  With lots of eyeliner.  By the way Britney Spears will now be joining the ranks with her new muslim man.  Astafurallah.

Lucky Britney!  I sure as hell wish I could have a new Muslim man! :-P

Hmm…I converted in my bathroom…not one, damn parade erupted afterwards…should I be worried that my conversion was not accepted?!?  I’ve had little or no notice from the general Islamic community, but am as white as they come…am I doing something wrong?  Should I hire a publicist?

You will find bathroom conversions in a Hadith I am sure.  Either way, welcome.  I think I was converted standing in the kitchen but I am not sure.  I had a cookie in my hand at the time, and was listening to the Shaykh.  Either way, welcome, hope you can stay at least for awhile.

Bathrooms must be a popular spot. I converted in the ladies room of a movie theater in San Francisco.

When I lived in Palestine I

When I lived in Palestine I noticed many young Palestinian women who would use some sort of cream or powder to lighten they’re skin. The writer above is correct, in the Near East the White women are the exotic types and darker-skinned folk don’t get notice. As a Black man I’ve always been attracted to Middle Eastern women in particular Palestinian (but since no one is interested in marrying a very progressive Black Muslim I’m out of luck LOL!)

As far as the hijab debate, its really up to a woman whether she wears it or not. I’ve bee around some of the most progressive sisters ever who would never go out without the hijab and I’ve seen others further to the right of Pat Robertson who’d never wear it..so there it is for what its worth.

I am sorry that the women

I am sorry that the women that interest you most, don’t return the favor. That doesn’t feel good. But take it from me, you haven’t missed anything brother. Read some of the posts here by ME women, and you will see that compared to black women they are stuck in a rut of self worship, which is haram, and can’t see past their own skin color to Allah. I have friends from Persia and all they do is talk about clothes, looks, skin, and nose jobs. Sad people who can ‘t be satisfied with what Allah gave them. I pray you find a delightful black woman to be your companion and get over your fixation. And if its too late for that, well you are in my dua’s.
