Why can't we figure it out, its so simple

Maybe we aren’t so smart after all. Maybe its time we all stopped and got a refresher course on Earth existence 101 or something. I guess for something like this to be effective, our ancestors, whomever they were, would have had to attend the same class. Maybe that’s the problem, none of us are getting the same message. My teacher used to tell one boy, “what planet are you on?” Indeed, what planet are any of us on? We can’t seem to take our global history, cook it in a large pot of common sense, and come out on the other end with a nice viable meal of alternatives to war, famine, greed, and sin. We don’t have that gene, we done have it. You see we are flawed, we were put here on the planet, and basically left to do one thing tune into the great intelligene, Allah/God/Elohim, and get our directions. So, you say, theres been alot of people who have tuned into god and gotten messages to “kill Jews, kill Palestinians, or whomever is the genocide du jour” Come on is it so hard to see that there are two energy waves? Just as ying and yang, there is a balance in everything and that is, whether you believe in evil, or not, there is a balancing act going on in the universe and depending on us, yes us collectively, the ball will be in one court more than the other. So rightfully so, its mostly in the court of evil, the dark side. Can it possibly be because so few of us take prayer seriously? We are in fact wired for it. this this way. Some hate religion, they say “religion accounts for all the suffering of mankind, just look at history.” I say yes, look at history and you will see that mankind suffers a great deal more without religion. But I suppose what this argument is really saying is, “isn’t religion only supposed to be about peace, and isn’t it supposed to only be about soft nice little things” I think not. Read any of the three Holy books and you will see that the struggle between the balances is always there. Every messenger had someone he trusted turn against him. Musa’s brother Aaron, Isa had Peter, Mohammad…...... That balance has never been on the side of good mostly, and why is that? Because first of all, we are not taught that we are all connected, that what one does effects the other. Like a butterfly flutters its wings in Texas and causes a Tsunami in Japan or something…we are all connected. Is religion supposed to bring peace? Or rather is it a big spoon that stirs the people until the evil ones pop up to the surface like scum to be scooped out and discarded. Our problem is, we are so lazy we don’t throw them out soon enough, we let them sit around until they ruin the meal, and then the entire religion is blamed for one or two people who should have been sorted out early, so early they should not have had a chance to sit down. But no, we don’t do that. In fact, in most places we find miscellaneous persons to follow, to sanctify, and no one has that power, no one. I believe there are people who can be gifted healers or teachers, and that we should listen to the good ones. WE have the in built ability to recognize in our heart, guts or what have you a bad teacher, preacher, mullah what have you.
We fail. We end up with the likes of some awful examples of abuse of power. But what is religion for? Not an opiate, no, in fact just the oposite it wakes you up! It makes you ask questions. People who are in religions and who are sheep, and who don’t ask questions are just like those under Communism who became weak and blind under that false religion. God/Allah/Elohim is real. He asks us to be real, to do our job, to tune into him. He speaks all the time. In dreams, through people, and in our Holy books.

We are not flawed. The

We are not flawed. The world is a sacred place and we belong in it.

Culture is flawed; IMHO the prophets come to try to rectify that. And each of us has our own prophetic voice. I think I get that from my Quaker upbringing.

I think power magnifies the traits of those who have it. And those who have it, only have it because we play along.

Supposedly a heretical Islamic sect once declared the End of Law, and declared that each was to follow the Imam of their own being.
