The Years of Rice and Salt

Tagged:

I just got done reading The Years of Rice and Salt by Kim Stanley Robinson. When I happened to go look at DA's blog, it happened to be his review of this book. I recognized the author's name from here, and with my interest piqued by DA I had to mention this book to my wife, who got it from the library. Since the book was here I just had to put down everything else I had my nose in, and read the book. I loved it. Very stimulating. Coincidentally, there's a lot of progressive Islam worked into it. Super mega kudos to Robinson.

Wifey is now reading the 40-50-60 series or DC trilogy or whatever it is. And saying how much it rulz.
